Hi, I’m the Dee in DeeLuxe Travels
You’ve landed here as you are likely a lot like me! Wanting to travel smarter, spend savvier, so you can stretch your money to boost a little more adventure in your life. Eternally dreaming about the next destination, getting excited about ‘that’ feeling, the freedom and the adventure that awaits, whether exploring your own hometown backyard or exploring every nook and cranny of the globe. I started this blog as my travel ‘addiction’ started a long time ago and people often commented on how it was possible for us to travel as often as we have.
Our goal has been finding creative ways to turn those travel dreams into reality ….to walk the same path as Jesus in Jerusalem, to stand in the colosseum where great gladiators fought, marvel at the colours of the Great Barrier Reef, fly over New York’s majestic skyline, float aimlessly in the Dead Sea, hike on the world’s largest glaciers, climb the pyramids or sip cocktails sailing on the ocean. We are taking all that we have learned and sharing with you to help you on your journey.

Travel is no longer considered a luxury. It is changing and more people are viewing it as a necessity. I am not a full time travel blogger and am not travelling the world over (I wish!). I just do this on the side, travelling whenever we can in between the day job. I share this in the hope to inspire others to get out and venture this big, beautiful world. I am also not fixated on set destinations, it all comes down to finding great deals and being creative to make it happen. We only get to experience one life and we want to live it to the fullest. If you are a traveller, you will definitely know once the travel bug bites, you are forever chasing the next adventure!
The pandemic saw us swap international travels for travel at home here in Australia. This has been the most wonderful experience and it gives me great pleasure to showcase Australian Travels (we certainly hope to do much more travel in Australia).
